Positive Choices in collaboration with
The Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S.) is an inter-active, action packed 4-day conference designed for high school students. The goal of the conference is to educate youth on complete and factual information pertaining to sexual health by emphasizing the positive qualities in youth and diffusing negative views youth may have on their role as leaders.
The 2008 Y.E.S. Conference is designed around the Pilot Film Festival. Conference participants will be assigned to Conference Group and each group will create and produce a 30 second public service announcement (PSA) to compete in the Pilot Film Festival. The winning PSA will be aired in Toledo, OH and every participating agency/group will receive a copy of all PSA’s created at the conference to air in their hometown.
