I
like being an influence on the lives of the younger kids.
I also like putting together community service projects and
acting in the skits. It’s a way I can change the world.

My involvement with the teen leader program lets me spread
the word on why it is good to be abstinent. I enjoying working
with the younger kids as well as my peers to provide a positive
influence on the rest of the world and make a difference in
as many lives as possible.

I was introduced to Positive Choices in the eighth grade.
I am now a sophomore in college and I believe that Positive
Choices played a big part in that. Positive Choices helped
me stay on the right path and make good decisions that have
allowed me to continue my education. I am so grateful for
Positive Choices.

I want to be a role model for my brother and sister; Positive
Choices lets me do that.

I
think the Positive Choices Week was a great program. It was
better than all of the other programs because teenagers were
talking to us and it made it a lot more fun. They knew what
we are going through right now.

I thought the Positive Choices was a good experience. It
showed us the consequences of sex and because of that I will
probably be much more cautious.

I think that Positive Choices was a good lesson to teach
us kids about all that could happen and about the choices
we make in high school and anywhere and everywhere we go.

The Positive Choices week taught me a lot about why to be
abstinent. Abstinence means to refrain from sex. Positive
Choices taught me to refrain from sex. Some of the reasons
were, you could get and STD, such as HIV, its against our
religion and its just not right. STDs could kill you if you
contract them. I choose to be abstinent.

I
thought that the positive choice week was very educational.
I also thought I was worth the time because we need to know
these things so we don't get hurt or die. I'm glad we had
these "talks" because I learned a lot and it might
help me some time in the future. I liked the speakers. They
knew what they were talking about and they didn't seem like
"Oh yeah this is so boring" which I liked.
